Whatever it is, it’s worth watching.
Not your ordinary Creative!
In a sea of “meh,” I proudly proclaim I’m all about Capturing the Awesome as a Brisbane-based photographer, videographer, and content creator. Forget the mundane; I’m here to bottle lightning, freeze electric moments, and craft bold visuals that make brands, events, and stories unforgettable. Brace yourself for a wild ride through a land free of the generic; every frame, every project, is designed to inspire, connect, and deliver anything but ordinary.
More than a story
I don’t just tell stories; I pull you right into them. My filmmaking is about creating video that makes you feel, truly feel, whether it’s tears, goosebumps, or standing ovations. From corporate keynotes to community showcases, I craft impactful video storytelling that resonates.
Wujal Wujal Flood Recovery
When flooding from ex-Tropical Cyclone Jasper devastated Wujal Wujal, families were displaced and lost many of the essentials that made their houses feel like home.
Working within a discrete Aboriginal community required sensitivity, patience and respect for cultural protocols. Every interview and image needed to be approached with care, ensuring people felt comfortable sharing their experiences during an incredibly difficult period.
The responsibility was to do more than document what GIVIT delivered. The film needed to centre the voices, strength and lived experiences of Wujal Wujal residents, telling the story of a community returning home and rebuilding on its own terms.
Through collaboration with Cape York Partnership, Jabalbina Yalanji Aboriginal Corporation and local community members, the film captures both the practical support provided and the relationships behind the recovery.
The completed film was screened at the Australian Disaster Resilience Conference 2025, where it received a standing ovation and brought members of the audience to tears. A powerful reminder that sensitive storytelling is not about making an organisation the hero; it is about listening, building trust and giving community voices the space they deserve.
Queensland Connected Communities Video Series
Client: Transcend Australia
Services: Video production, cinematography, sound recording, editing and motion graphics
The Queensland Connected Communities video series was created to share honest, affirming stories and practical information with trans and gender-diverse young people, families, carers and service providers.
The challenge was to communicate complex and deeply personal subjects with clarity, warmth and sensitivity. Each video needed to feel authentic to the people involved while remaining engaging, informative and accessible.
I managed the complete production process, including filming, interview recording, audio capture, editing, colour grading and final delivery. Branded motion graphics, introductions, closing screens and captions connected the videos with the project’s wider visual identity.
The series explores gender-affirming care and common myths, conversations with trans elders, and the experiences of parents supporting their trans children with pride and unconditional love.
By placing lived experience at the centre, the videos transform information into human connection, creating space for voices that educate, reassure and help people feel seen.
